Priti Kataria

Priti is the Senior Vice President and HR Head at Wipro Limited

Priti brings over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. She possesses significant experience in end-to-end talent supply management, leadership engagement and in anchoring talent functions. A global HR leader, Priti has a strong business mindset and the ability to enable solutions that work for her stakeholders. She has a proven ability in designing, articulating and deploying global people strategies.

Priti currently leads a group of talented HR professionals supporting the Enterprise Futuring global business line within Wipro, that has a footprint of over 125,000 colleagues, spread across 40 nationalities, supporting a customer base of 700+ global clients. The group is a globally dispersed, highly complex business unit which includes Digital Operations & Platforms, Cybersecurity & Risk Services, Enterprise Applications and Data, Analytics & Intelligence. We also support our Digital Experience and Wipro’s AI practice.

In addition, Priti leads the Location Enablement Unit (EU) for Mumbai, providing location oversight and leadership across all operating units. She is a Trustee on the Board of Wipro Cares, our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, and also anchors ‘Wipro Cares’ events for the location. An active participant in forums enabling women in leadership, Priti is a passionate torchbearer for inclusion and diversity efforts across gender, persons with disabilities and LGBTQ+. As chairperson of the committee for prevention of sexual harassment (POSH), she has been awarded for best practices by the Indo-Asian Chamber of Commerce. She has been a recipient of the ‘Save the Environment (STE) Prerna Samman’ award for achieving an equal future in the COVID-19 world. Priti is a mentor for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneshwar, as a part of our flagship program to act as a bridge with the academic center and guide students in their career journeys.

Priti has also chaired Project Anchor, a Wipro-wide initiative which consciously addressed pockets of high attrition across early career stages. Sustained efforts have helped improve retention, showing a declining quarterly trend over six consecutive quarters since September 2021. She has been instrumental in supporting large-scale organizational redesign, restructuring and leading transformation efforts across Wipro and has successfully anchored change management in a matrix organization.

Currently pursuing her PhD from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, Priti is focusing her efforts in the areas of Organizational Behavior and HR. She is a certified executive coach and an alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
