Atma

Atma is an accelerator for education NGOs and social enterprises in India. It was founded in 2007. Its mission is to build NGOs’ capacity by enhancing their knowledge, skills, systems, processes, networks, agency, and access to resources.

Atma believes that these organizations can lead the way in reforming education. However, faced with a severe lack of financial and human resources, they are unable to realize their true potential. In this context, the organization supports NGOs in their capacity building journeys across ten organization development areas.

Atma’s vision is a thriving Indian development sector, which enables NGOs to sustain and grow. It currently operates throughout India. Up until now, it has provided high-touch support to 1,000+ NGOs.
