Business Responsibility

We recognize that the environmental challenges we face today are as critical as the economic imperatives. Ecological sustainability is therefore an essential part of our approach in enabling responsible corporate citizenship.

Partnering for Social Change

We believe in a democratic social vision where each citizen is not only capable as an individual, but also sees the ethics of equity, the essentiality of diversity, the ethos of justice, and is driven by social sensitivity.

Advocacy and Public Policy

We think that the industry’s role must go beyond its own boundaries to address sustainability challenges. We work with different stakeholders on water, energy and climate change, e-waste, education and diversity to address this.

In Focus

Conserving Urban Biodiversity in Bengaluru

Nestled in the outskirts of Bengaluru, Wipro campuses are biodiversity-rich landscapes. With more than 3000 trees and space for wetlands, the landscape attracts butterflies, birds, and various other flora and fauna in addition to offering employees a space to run their own community gardens. Watch the video to learn more about how we are working towards biodiversity conservation in our campuses.

CSR Compliance

As a part of our philosophy of adhering to the highest ethical standards, transparency, and accountability, disclosures are considered critical in the company. Disclosures help us adhere to regulatory requirements as well as proactively informing and engaging with our various stakeholders.

Read our CSR policy, sustainability reports, and disclosures to learn more about our work and approach.

Impact Assessment 2022-23

On January 22, 2021, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs amended the earlier CSR Rules of 2014 and notified the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Amendment Rules 2021 to make impact assessment mandatory for companies undertaking CSR activities and CSR expenditure above a specified threshold.

The requirement of an impact assessment for FY 2022–23 was applicable to Wipro Foundation projects mentioned in the executive summary below. The detailed impact assessment reports for each project follow.
