Towards Future

Towards Future is a non-profit development organization working on child rights and women rights issues with a special focus on Child Education. The organization is working currently in some areas of four districts (Nadia – Kalyani Municipality, North & South 24 Parganas – Rajarhat block and Vangar II block and Birbhoom – Rajnagar block) of West Bengal.

Vision: Our goal is for Indian society to embrace youngsters whose families have been impacted by
leprosy, and for them to develop, flourish, pick up moral values, reach their full potential, and live
long, happy, healthy, and respectable lives.
Mission: Udayan disrupts the cycle of intergenerational leprosy. We empower the children of
leprosy-affected families by giving them space to develop, learn, and become self-sufficient. These
children and their families will "rise above leprosy" via education, personality development, and
employment opportunities.

Vision: Unleashing entrepreneurial capabilities of marginalized girls in educationally backward geographies through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agro-tech and Mathematics) education. 
Mission: By 2025, Co-create 118 Maker Labs with Type IV Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBVs) to ensure the success of marginalized girls in all the educationally backward blocks of Rajasthan. 

Maker Labs, as explained later, seek to empower students through a comprehensive STEAM-based curriculum. We are aiming to transform KGBVs through Maker Labs to empower marginalized girls to pursue high-potential careers and uplift their communities.

Umoya, meaning ‘Spirit’, is a dream that we started in order to reinforce that all children ‘in spirit’ are the same, irrespective of their gender, age, religion, or disability, and ensure equal opportunities so that their circumstance would no longer dictate their destiny. Albert Einstein famously said, “Play is the highest form of research”; and national as well as international research proves that sports empower all to build social and life skills, socio-emotional learning, and help people become independent through employment.

Urmi Foundation

Urmi Foundation aims at three core areas via its grassroots-level interventions in disability: Identification; Intervention; and Mainstreaming. Urmi Foundation specifically works with children with developmental disabilities like autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) and other permanent disabilities. Urmi tries to reduce its intensity by its planned and tailor-made intervention. Urmi implements its model/program in Mumbai and Thane currently, but is willing to expand it to other regions of Maharashtra.

Varirtra Foundation

Varitra Foundation is a platform for initiating social change through meaningful collaborations to make way for long-term difference in the lives of people. A Sanskrit word, “Varitra”, means Umbrella. In developmental terms, Varitra symbolises synergy, collaboration, and a canopy of ideas. Over the past three years, Varitra has worked in over 20 villages in Karnal district (Haryana) to transform education in rural government schools through initiatives like setting up libraries, running reading programs, infrastructural strengthening, running post-school remedial classes, and enhancing student leadership.
