SeasonWatch
SeasonWatch is a pan-India citizen’s science project aimed at gathering information on tree phenology, through several years to document tree seasonality over space and time (research goal). The act of observing trees also provides thousands of interested citizens – especially children – across the country, the opportunity to go outdoors and interact with plants, and in the process, develop a meaningful connection with nature (education goal).

Shaheed Virender Smarak Samiti (SVSS) was established during the adult literacy movement in the 1990s to continue the dreams and work of our literacy activist Shaheed Virender in block Samalkha in the Panipat district of state Haryana. Activism has been our principal means of bringing social change in the face of various contemporary challenges for more than 30 years.

SHIKSHAMITRA was founded in 2005 as a school and education resource centre, working on the issues of equity, pedagogy, and sustainable learning. Shikshamitra ran a school that offered children aged 8-16 a supportive, artistic, and creative environment where they could discover their personal strengths, explore and develop their individuality, and grow in understanding and confidence.

Shiksharth Trust
Shiksharth is a not-for-profit educational initiative working towards ensuring safe spaces and contextually relevant personalized learning opportunities for children facing adversity because of geography or conflict. Working since 2015 and legally incorporated in June 2016, we are headquartered in Sukma district, South Bastar, Chhattisgarh and operational in Dantewada, Kondagaon, Bastar districts along with Sukma.

It is a non-profit organization working in Northeast India since 1987 towards enabling and empowering children and persons with disabilities through a range of services that ensure their rights to equal opportunities, and full participation in society.

SOPAN is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) set up in 2002 to provide needs-based services to children with autism and their families. SOPAN initially started with the mission of empowering persons with autism and their families but expanded its services to include persons and families with other developmental disabilities, as there was a strong need for these services.

Space for Nurturing Creativity, Shyamavan, was founded in 2009 and subsequently registered as a society in April 2011, with the mission of fostering future generations of mindful, sensitive and creative individuals, capable of living harmoniously and self-sustainably in collaboration with each other as well as with nature. The center resides in the small village of Khumera, in Rudraprayag District, Uttarakhand.

SwaTaleem
Quality Education is still a privilege for a major chunk of our society. The chance of accessing it reduces manifold with each layer of existing structures of gender, caste or economic status. The seeds of the SwaTaleem were sown with intent to contribute to bridging inequality in society through quality education, focused on the learner’s needs. Our focus is to work with Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas to create thriving school communities for adolescent girls in India.
